Daimyo
Daimyo places you in the steps of a peasant in feudal-era Japan.
The year is 1567. Japan's previous shogun, Ashikaga Yoshiteru, was assassinated
over two years ago and a power vacuum still exists. Numerous daimyo, or lords,
vie for control of their lands and dream of uniting Japan under their military
leadership and taking the title of Sei-i Tai Shogun for themselves.
You are villager on the northernmost island, Hokkaido. You've heard of the
battles being waged on the main island and some part of you itches to join the
fray. But first you'll need to become the head of your village and supplant your
current daimyo to become lord of your region. Then maybe bigger rewards await
you to the south...
Do you have what it takes to enlist your friends to support you, conquer your
enemies, and convince Emperor Ogimachi to appoint you the supreme military
leader of all Japan?
